You can create your own proposals for every lady in your group. No matter what your relationship is, you can make a custom card to propose to them with BeFunky’s Card Maker.
What Message to Write In Your Bridesmaid Proposal Cards?
Need some inspiration for creating your own proposal cards? Here are a few categories your gal pals could fit into, and some of our favorite sayings for each, along with some design inspiration. The tears are sure to flow so keep your message short and sweet to embrace the moment.
For the Childhood Friend
Childhood friends become more like siblings, there is something special about the bond that is created when you watch someone else grow up alongside you. Dig through your old photos and find images of you and your bestie as kids to add to your bridesmaid proposal. Pair it with a current photo of you two to illustrate the length of your friendship. Include how long you have known your gal pal, and pop the question: will you be my bridesmaid?
For the Comedian
Having a friend that has a knack for comedy is your chance to propose in a more humorous way. One way to do that is by insisting that you will not make her wear an ugly bridesmaid dress. Opting for simple, bold letters is an effective way to get your joke across while asking them to be in your bridal party. Another favorite phrase for your comedian friend is “All you have to do is show up and hold my dress when I need to pee!”
For the Floral Obsessed
Everyone has a friend obsessed with flowers, use this as an opportunity to dazzle with the prettiest floral wreath, and tell her how excited you would be to have her stand next to you on your big day. You can even start delegating tasks and asking for help as we did in this one by asking for help picking flowers! If you want to get more specific, you could say “Lillies or Roses? Be my Bridesmaid and help me choose!”
For the Sister
Whether you want to ask your sister to be a bridesmaid or your maid of honor, a simple card with a bold title is the way to go. She is your oldest friend and has grown up by your side, showing that the new title bright and bold in the middle of your card is an eye-catching way to ask. Our favorite phrase for asking sisters to be a part of the wedding party is “I can’t marry my mister without my sister!”
