Using the Rotate tool can be perfect for photos where the camera angle needs some slight correcting. Photos can easily be straightened or rotated in 90 degree increments. But what happens when you want to tilt your entire photo without cropping any pixels from the edges, like this:
The answer is BeFunky’s Tilt tool! With it, you can achieve perfectly tilted photos for blog graphics, social media posts, and everything in between. You can tilt images however you’d like, all on a transparent background (perfect for posting tilted photos online seamlessly!) or any solid-color background you choose, keeping every pixel in the image intact. We’ll show you how!
How To Tilt Photos In BeFunky
First thing’s first - head to BeFunky’s Photo Editor and upload an image of your choice by selecting the file from the Open button at the top or dragging-and-dropping your photo into the interface. Once your image is uploaded, select the Tilt tool from the bottom of the Edit menu on the left.
When you’re in the Tilt tool menu, you’ll see a slider for Tilt Amount. Use the slider to tilt your image to your desired amount of tilt. You’ll notice that the background is automatically set to transparent, which is perfect for posting online to create a seamless look for any background color.
If you’d like to change the color of the background, click on the tile next to Background Color. You can use the color palette to select any color in the rainbow, or use the Eye Dropper tool to select a color that’s already represented on your photo.
When your image is looking perfect, click the blue checkmark to apply the tilt.
You can easily save your image to a variety of destinations by clicking on the Save button at the top of the Photo Editor. If you’ve chosen to tilt your photo on a transparent background, be sure to select the .PNG option in the Format section of the Save panel.
That way, when you post your image anywhere, the background will remain transparent instead of checkered, creating a seamless look on websites, blogs, email campaigns, and beyond!
