Most artists don’t have the luxury of being able to save their work instantly. As soon as the paint hits the canvas, there’s no turning back. But lucky for you, photo editing with BeFunky is a digital art form. That gives you the freedom to save your work at any time, and the option to go back and make edits later. It also makes it super easy to preserve and share your masterpieces. The moment a sculptor strikes his marble, its shape is forever changed. But the fine art of BeFunky photo editing lets you save whenever you please, and you can do it to your computer, Facebook, Dropbox, Google Drive or your BeFunky profile. So save those photos, sit back and enjoy the comfort of knowing they’re safely stored away!
Photo Saving You Can Count on
We offer several completely dependable ways to store your photos, and it couldn't be easier to do. When you’re finished bringing your creative vision to life with our Photo Editor, Collage Maker or Graphic Designer, click the Save button. You can find it at the top center of your screen. When you do, a drop down menu will appear and present several options, so you can save to wherever is most convenient.
Pro Tip: When saving, remember that this is also the location where you will upload your edited images from later.
Keep it Offline
Saving to your computer is always a safe bet. It guarantees your images will be accessible, and never lost in the vastness of the internet. To get started just select Computer from the drop down menu, type in a filename and select between JPG or PNG for your photo format. You can also adjust the quality of your image using the sliding scale. It will automatically be set to 90.0, but that extra 10.0 certainly helps to improve resolution!
Pro Tip: A JPG is your standard photo format, and it will work well for just about any use. A PNG is another common photo format, which works best for printing and creating images with transparent backgrounds.
Be a Part of the BeFunky Community
If you prefer, you can save your photos straight to your BeFunky profile. It’s great for keeping all of your photo edits together in one place, and creating a gallery to share with the BeFunky community. When you’re ready click Save, choose BeFunky from the drop down menu and enter a description in the box that says “say something.” If you'd like to have your photo appear in our Explore Gallery, check the box that says Public. To keep it private, uncheck it. You can also save your original image along with the edited version. If you'd like to do so, check the box that says Save Original Image, and you’re good to go!
Pro Tip: Images saved publicly help get your work out into the world by appearing in search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo! and more!
Inspire your Facebook Friends
When you save your photos to Facebook, you also share them instantly. As soon as you’re done editing, you can show your photos to loved ones and preserve them on your timeline, all at once. Spreading the creativity couldn't be simpler either. When you’re finished tinkering with all our photo effects, graphics and touch-up tools, choose Facebook from the drop down menu. Then enter a caption and click Save to make it final.
Pro Tip: You may be asked to confirm your Facebook login, so have your information ready!
Save on the Go
If you’re anything like us, you’re always editing photos. Some of us at BeFunky spend our mornings making touch-ups on-the-go using the Befunky app, afternoons enhancing photos at work and nighttime editing on the home desktop. This can make it difficult to keep track of which edits are saved on which device. To help create a seamless photo-editing experience, BeFunky lets you save images to Google Drive. That means you can access saved photos from any device, and any location. To do so, select Google Drive from the drop down menu, name your file and click Save.
Pro Tip: If it's the first time you're saving to Google Drive, you'll need to allow BeFunky Photo Editor access to your Google account.
Pick Up Where You Left Off
Not a fan of Google? No need to worry. You can get the same versatility and multi-device functionality of Google Drive when you save to Dropbox. The steps are pretty much the same. After you’re done making photo-edits, collages or designs, select Save from the drop down menu. Then choose Dropbox, name your file and confirm.
Pro Tip: To save to Dropbox, you need to have an account first. Visit Dropbox.com to create one.
Use whichever method is most convenient for you. Share your work instantly. Save your work however you want, and rest easy knowing that your images are perfectly preserved.
