If you're anything like me, when you hear the word "burlesque", your brain immediately takes you back in time to the turn of the 20th century. Piano bars, silent films, and beautiful women in corsets teasing an ever-attentive and hyped-up audience.
However, you don't need a time machine to experience a burlesque show. This sultry tradition is still alive and well, if not thriving, all over the world today. I was fortunate enough recently to have been welcomed backstage at a show in Sicily featuring the sensational Giuditta Sin.
